The spring softball season begins this week as Mountain Pointe gets started today in the Lion Country tournament at Red Mountain.
The Desert Vista baseball team hosts its own tournament starting on Friday, which includes Mountain View, Cibola and Red Mountain.
The Pride baseball team opens in the Big League Dugout tournament today.
Most of the other sports - tennis, boys volleyball, track and field - don't start until next week.
