Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery is kicking off its 15th annual partnership with local fire departments with the Fire Chief Ale limited-time-only promotion.

From March 8 through April 17, the brewery restaurant will be featuring Fire Chief Ale and an accompanying menu. For every pint of Fire Chief Ale sold during the promotion, Rock Bottom will donate 25 cents of the proceeds to local fire departments and their related charities.

“We are privileged to work hand in hand with our local fire departments during the Fire Chief Ale promotion,” said Kevin Reed, director of brewery operations. “These men and women are selfless and put themselves in harm’s way to keep us all safe. It is important that we show our support, and brewing top quality, handcrafted beer is the best way we know how.”

Fire Chief Ale is a medium bodied, auburn colored ale that gets its pleasant sweetness and lightly toasted character from select caramel and crystal malts. With hand selected hops from the Pacific Northwest, Fire Chief Ale has a crisp and satisfying finish.

Starters on the accompanying menu include Kobe Sliders, Fire Chief Chili Nachos and the Fire Chief Combo Platter, featuring Rock Bottom Buffalo Wings, Southwest Egg Rolls and Spicy Spinach Cheese Dip served with housemade tortilla chips. Featured entrées are the Kobe Cheeseburger, Blackened Chicken Salad, Cedar Plank Pecan Crusted Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and the mouth-watering Cajun Fish Tacos. The tacos feature mahi mahi grilled with Cajun spices, in a crisp blue corn tortilla wrapped with a soft flour tortilla with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and Cajun remoulade. Rock Bottom rounds out the menu with the Triple Chocolate Brownie, a rich, warm triple chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, topped with housemade caramel sauce and stout hot fudge.

Rock Bottom’s featured cocktail during the Fire Chief Ale promotion is RB’s Sweet Iced Tea. A premium blend of Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka, Beefeater Gin, Bacardi Superior Rum, Cointreau and Finest Call Sweet & Sour, topped with Pepsi, this is iced tea with a southern kick.

Each Rock Bottom location will be hosting a tapping party in celebration of the promotion between March 8 and 10. The parties are open to the public, and attendees can sample the beer and tasters of the new menu items. The six-week promotion will include special events such as chili cook-offs and bachelor auctions in the restaurants. Contact your local Rock Bottom for additional details or visit
