Those of us involved in teaching students -- of all ages -- how to read, know that it is possible to train the brain to process information (letters, words, phrases, sentences) more efficiently. One way of accomplishing this is to use a supplemental software program, such as the AceReader Pro (www.acereader.com). Containing a comprehensive inventory of grade-leveled reading comprehension tests, eye and text drills, and fun yet challenging games, the program can be tailored to each student's individual needs. This includes the ability for the instructor to import his/her own material to use as part of the lessons. The program reinforces all the techniques covered in the classroom and allows the students to exceed their current reading speed and comprehension in a positive and effective way.Jun 25, 2010
