Let's Eat: Firefighters get ready to bring the heat
Posted: Monday, October 12, 2009 11:00 pmChef Rafael Torres offers up Aunt Chilada's salsa recipe in anticipation of Wednesday's “Salsa Cup Challenge” benefit taking place at his restaurant, 2021 W. Baseline Road. Area firefighters, including those from the Foothills, will be entering their recipes in the benefit challenge with proceeds going to Camp Courage that helps victims of burns and trauma. The winner's salsa recipe will be featured at Aunt Chilada's Tempe location for a month. From left to right are: Dennis Dominguez, David Padilla, Torres and Alex Ramos. They will be representing the Guadalupe Fire Department.
