Young artists at Mountain Pointe present winter show
John Sampanes and several other students in Karan Lytle's ceramics class at Mountain Pointe created pieces called \"horse hair.\" Lytle said it's a primative technique where containers are rolled in horse hair before firing and then trimmed with pine needles.
