Pippa can be a bit shy when she meets new people but with a little bit of time, this little gal opens up to show her peppy, loving and cuddly personality. She has flourished into a sweet, bubbly dog. She loves to play ball with her foster brother and go on walks. One of her favorite activities is playing with toys. Pippa loves to pull all the toys out of the toy box and hide various ones around the house. She’s looking for a home with another young, active, dog that she can play with. Another canine friend also gives Pippa confidence and makes for a great snuggle buddy. Pippa has become quite the ball chaser in foster care as well. She’s looking forward to continuing to hone her ball skills in her new home. Pippa is looking for a patient home that will understand that she is initially shy with new folks, but that with patience she comes around. Daily walks, plenty of snuggle time and lots of toys are all on this little girl’s wish list.
Phaedra is a gentle gal with a laid back, easy going personality. She enjoys hanging out with people and gets along well with other dogs. Although she is not particularly interested in the rough and tumble wrestling games that some other dogs like, she’s happy to watch the show. Phaedra is looking for a home that will take her on daily walks around the neighborhood, weekend hikes could be enjoyable to her too but she might have to work up her stamina for a longer hike. A home with plenty of cuddle time and hanging out with her favorite humans would be perfect for this mellow gal. Belly rubs are also a favorite of hers. She has so much love to give and can’t wait to start her new life.

Meet Parker, a very cute but shy little boy with adorable ears and those big eyes that just beg for you to pick him up and hold him close. It seems that Parker has not been on many car rides and will need a family to take him on short trips to help him with his fear. He is very scared and will try to hide under the car seats. This little snuggle bug wants nothing more than a nice lap to lay in and his own person to cuddle with. He likes his walks but is still a little leery of things around him. Once he gets to know you and feels secure he will be your best friend. He is a pretty mellow guy so the perfect home would be one that is calm with not a lot of activity. Another canine in the house would be a plus. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like anyone has taken the time to show Parker how much fun playing with toys can be, but with some help it won’t take long.
Sunny is a perfect name for this bubbly, bright, outgoing personality. She seems to love everyone she meets and enjoys romping with other dogs, too. Amadeus is one of those dogs that if his striking color, scruffy hairdo, or very cute under bite doesn’t capture your heart his wonderful demeanor will. He has a gentle soul that is full of life and he is happy to spend the time with you no matter what it entails. Walks are a favorite thing to do, but he also can be very happy sitting in your lap soaking up love and attention. He is a great riding companion, sitting in the seat beside you just watching the world go by. Amadeus enjoys playing fetch and has become quite good at it. He has been a perfect house guest in foster care. He’s house trained, doesn’t bark, is a pretty low maintenance guy that enjoys hanging out with his human friends. He is looking for a home with daily walks, games of fetch, snuggle time, and of course a life of love. He promises to be your best friend and love you for all the days of his life in return.
Samson is a gentle boy who loves to spend time walking, running and playing outside. He is also very curious and amiable: he loves to say hello to people, dogs and just about any bush or tree that he passes. He is a happy boy — his tail never stops wagging on walks. He would be a super buddy for an energetic person. This outgoing, active, handsome, affectionate guy is a great dog, now he just needs a family of his own to make him complete. He is looking for an active home, with daily morning walks or jogs — weekend hikes would be a big bonus. While he could live without another dog it would be ideal for him to have another young, active dog for him to play and romp with so he can burn off some energy. Samson will need help with his leash manners and not jumping on folks to greet them.

Bowie’s foster mom raves about how wonderful he is. He is passive with other dogs, although he does love attention so he nudges his way in to get his fair share, but he’s not rude about it. He sleeps through the night and rides very well in the car. Bowie is cuddly so anyone interested in this sweet guy must love a lap dog. He will sleep in bed with you if you let him. He loves to follow his humans around, always curious as to what they are doing, but never getting in the way. He also has what’s called a “submissive grin.” He lifts his top lips, pulls them back and a beautiful white, pearly smile appears, along with happy squinty eyes and a bright pink tongue. Bowie is looking for a home with daily walks and plenty of daily snuggle time. A canine friend or two would be fine but Bowie could live as an only child as well.

Rue doesn’t seem to give her heart to just anyone. Even though when you look into her eyes she gazes back at you as if to say, “Take me home and I will love you forever.” You can see the hope in her eyes. The desire to let her past go and live a happy and loving life without worry. Rue deserves a happy, loving and caring home of her very own. A home where she doesn’t have to worry about where her next meal is going to come from. A safe home where she doesn’t have to worry about getting bit by bugs or how to stay cool or warm. All these things might seem trivial, but these were very real concerns for Rue. She’s heard all about the great homes that the other RESCUE dogs have found. A comfy, soft dog bed of her own. A yard to romp in, grass to roll in, a spot to sun herself, daily walks, toys to play with, food and treats of her very own and a family that loves her and snuggles with her everyday. She dreams of this for herself and so do we.
