Area athletes will sign the dotted line for football, field hockey, soccer, track and field, cross country and water polo on Wednesday as the national signing day is here once again.

On numerous occasions this season, Desert Vista coach Dan Hinds said quarterback coach Matt Young as a student of the game and how it was like having another coach on the field.

The fourth annual Tukee Fest Rockin' in the Park will mark the first day of the fall season Friday with entertainment and fun for the public to enjoy.

With the fall season on the horizon and cooler weather on the way, many Ahwatukee Foothills residents will be ringing in the new season with the third annual Tukee Fest Rockin' in the Park this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 24 and 25.
