PHOENIX (AP) — Criticized for its own handling of head injuries, the NFL launched an extensive lobbying campaign to pass laws protecting kids who get concussions while playing sports. The result: Within just five years, every state had a law on the books.

T.W. Lewis Foundation announced a partnership with Teach For America-Phoenix. The non-profit organization has been actively involved in education in the Valley for more than 20 years, working alongside veteran teachers, school and community leaders, and parents to help ensure an excellent education for all children across the metro area. In support of their mission, T.W. Lewis Foundation is sponsoring a challenge grant, which will gift $150,000 over a three-year period to Teach For America. When the challenge is met, the total amount garnered for Teach For America in 2016 will be $300,000.
