The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa announced that Conor Favre has been appointed executive chef. Favre is an expert culinary leader with more than 18 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.

The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa has named William “Mac” McNally director of restaurants and bars. His duties will include overseeing all operations in Ko’sin Restaurant, Hanyo Poolside Bar and Grill, The Link Café and the resort’s lobby bar, as well as management of the Sheraton Adventure comprehensive family activities program.

On Nov. 30, East Valley nonprofit ICAN will host the ninth annual Festival of Trees at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort, 5594 W. Wild Horse Pass Blvd. in Chandler, at 6 p.m.

The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Rosie Rivera as the resort’s official cultural concierge. Amil Pedro started tracking wild animals when he was just a young boy. His family taught him how to look for certain things - fur caught on a bush or the markings of a rock that had been kicked, for example - and how to analyze situations he would encounter in the wild. He went on to use these skills that he learned at such a young age in a successful career, but returns to his roots as part of an ongoing performance program at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa.
