The appearance of your skin, including the skin on your feet, is a reflection of what’s going on internally with your health. Dry, cracked heels are an indication that your body is out of balance, not an indication that you need an expensive foot cream or a pedicure. Dry, cracked heels are a very common problem that can be embarrassing and unsightly. Fortunately, the following remedies will result in smooth, happy, healthy feet.

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes. Most cases of chronic sinusitis are not caused by infection but are actually an immune disorder caused by fungus. Mayo Clinic researchers found that “fungal organisms were present in 96 percent of patients who had surgery for chronic sinusitis, and that inflammatory cells were clumped around the fungi, which indicated that the condition was an immune disorder caused by fungus.”
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the No. 1 cause of morbidity and mortality in the U.S. CVD is one of the most misdiagnosed and mistreated conditions in medicine. The top risk factors for CVD include hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes and obesity, a.k.a. diobesity, and smoking, which are poorly treated and often with toxic pharmaceutical drugs. And September marks the beginning of the fall vegetable planting season — the most abundant season in desert gardening. So, preparing the garden’s soil is on every vegetable grower’s August checklist.
