Throughout the years, the Kyrene Foundation’s Family Resource Center has been on the forefront of assisting families in the Kyrene School District who are in need of assistance.
Bean burgers, peanut butter substitutes and pre-sliced vegetable packets were on the menu recently as school lunchroom managers from around the country sampled offerings in a hunt for fare that will meet stricter health mandates — without turning off sometimes-finicky students.

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes. Most cases of chronic sinusitis are not caused by infection but are actually an immune disorder caused by fungus. Mayo Clinic researchers found that “fungal organisms were present in 96 percent of patients who had surgery for chronic sinusitis, and that inflammatory cells were clumped around the fungi, which indicated that the condition was an immune disorder caused by fungus.”
