On April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Phoenix Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

For the first time since Phoenix instituted massive budget cuts this spring the Phoenix police, community activists and Block Watch members will be sitting down for coffee Thursday for another ’Tukee Talk, an opportunity for the public to ask questions of the officers who patrol Ahwatukee Foothills.

The dog’s death appeared to be premeditated and well planned.

Crime is down in Ahwatukee Foothills and, according to local police, the community deserves a “thank you.”
