    The (former) planet Pluto was given its name in 1930 by a young, 11-year-old woman. This Pluto, however, has more in common with Mickey Mouse's best friend, the Disney dog character Pluto. First, the obvious, they are both dogs. Both the cartoon figure and this doggie are loyal, loving, fun and vivacious. He Pluto interacts well with people and when not exploring his world, loves to give kisses. This handsome, young pooch is a loving boy. Pluto is a happy guy; sweet, animated and goofy.
