Both Nathanael Fuller and Lauren Berry of the Ahwatukee Foothills area have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at Seaver College, an undergraduate school for Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.

Barro’s Pizza and Dr Pepper presented tuition checks of $1,000 to five winners of the Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway Contest that took place at the end of last year. The check presentation was at the Barro’s Ahwatukee location on Ray Road. The contest was open to all Barro’s customers. The Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway awarded more than $1 million in tuition to students across the country during the 2012 college football season, and Dr Pepper teamed up with Barro’s Pizza to give away five $1,000 tuition prizes to students from the Phoenix area.
