It’s no secret that men like Keith Richards, John Lennon and Frank Sinatra are the first to be mentioned when talking about the evolution of music. But what about women like Joan Jett and Tina Turner, who are equally responsible for putting rock and roll on the map?

Admittedly, pot roast is not a particularly beautiful dish. But when done well, it is a delicious dish — flavorful, succulent, rich and comforting. In short, it’s everything you want for a holiday feast.

Having a true season of joy is a tall order for some people during the holidays, who may envision a time filled with too much to do, interactions with unpleasant family members and a season focused on things rather than experiences.
