Stretched along Kyrene Centennial Middle School’s track on Saturday for the district’s first Acts of Kindness event, Kyrene Monte Vista Elementary students raked in a paper chain with more than 3,000 links representing random acts of kindness.

The city of Phoenix is celebrating Valley Bike Month throughout April with a variety of activities intended to get residents out on their bikes to share in the experience of cycling throughout the city. In partnership with Valley Metro, the city is encouraging seasoned cyclists and those new to biking to give it a try at one of these events:

Local Phoenix Jamba Juice franchise operator, PB Swann LLC, announced that May 7-11, during National Teacher Appreciation Week, participating Jamba Juice stores in Phoenix will blend and deliver a variety of 16-ounce smoothies to more than 14,000 teachers and administrative staff members in the Phoenix area.
