The Infinity Wrestling Academy, run by Chuck Barbee, will host two camps this summer at Desert Vista. The first is June 6-8 and is a Level II takedown camp for ages 10 to 13, and younger kids with experience with a suitable partner. The second is July 25-27, and is a leg riding camp for ages 8 to 13 with at least one year of wrestling experience. The cost is $60 if pre-registered and $80 after the deadlines. The Infinity Wrestling Academy, for youth and middle school kids from the Ahwatukee area, will be Oct. Feb. 16, with breaks for holidays, in the Desert Vista wrestling room. Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. for wrestlers in first through fourth grades. For those in fifth through eighth grade it will be on Monday and Wednesday from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.

Infinity Wrestling Academy had two individuals from Ahawatukee
Foothills place in the USA Wrestling Folkstyle State Tournament at
Boulder Creek High School last weekend. Cade Cunningham won the
Intermediate Division at 85 pounds, while Tony Barbee took fourth
place in the Novice Division at 80 pounds. Evan Zambroski competed
at 90 pounds in the Novice Division, but did not place.
The Infinity Wrestling Academy, taught by Chuck Barbee, will
host two wrestling clinics. The first is a starter program Sept.
8-29 for new and novice competitors. There will also be an IWA No
Limits camp from Oct. 4 to Feb. 9, 2012 for wrestlers with at least
a year of experience.
