    Sheyda Vadipour, a freshman at DV, won first place for her age group in a half marathon race for breast cancer which ran between Scottsdale and Tempe this past Sun., November 7. She finished the 13 mile race in 1 hour, 54 minutes. Her motivator for running has been her cousin Rose who lives in Los Angeles, California. Sheyda also participated in a 5k run at the Ahwatukee YMCA and won first place. She is now looking forward to the upcoming PF Chang's race coming this January.
