Mady is an extremely beautiful and sweet, 1-year-old petite Dilute Tortoiseshell cat. She came to Lost Our Home Pet Foundation with six newborn kittens who all found homes.
Molly and Prince, a brother and sister duo, are two beautiful 3-year-old long-haired white and grey cats who were rescued from a foreclosed home. They are a bit shy at first but love to be petted and groomed.
Jack is an extremely gentle 8-year-old lap cat with a very sweet demeanor. He seeks affection from anyone who will give it and responds with a little “squeak” and rub. He is very healthy and gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids. He is very adaptable to new situations.
Figarro is a female short-haired black and white cat, about 10 years old. She is a sweet thing that loves giving “Eskimo kisses” and being super cute. When not doing that she also enjoys spending time with her human friends. Figarro seems to almost always be purring. She knows how to see the brighter side of life and is hoping for a forever home soon. She’d also like her new family to rename her with a more “girly girl” name.
Elliott, a 2-year-old white Tabby male cat, was rescued after being abandoned at an elementary school. Lost Our Home Pet Foundation found him a home, but unfortunately his owner lost her home and was forced to move to another state to live with relatives who are allergic to cats. Elliott is extremely affectionate, playful and is good with other cats, dogs and older kids.
Karma is a domestic short-haired buff and white large male kitty. He is approximately 6 years old. Karma’s personality is one of the strong, silent types. He very much enjoys sitting on a human’s lap or sitting next to someone for some love. Getting lovin’ is his favorite thing to do. He bows his head for rubs then “collapses” upside down for some belly rubs. Karma has tested negative for FELV/FIV. He is altered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and litter-box trained. He currently calls Friends for Life’s adoption center in downtown Gilbert home.
Blaze was originally adopted from Lost Our Home Pet Foundation, but she came back because her adoptive mom could no longer take care of her. Blaze is a wonderfully sweet cat that just wants to be near you. She will steal your heart with her expressive eyes and may even find her way into your handbag.
This sweet kitty Angel needs a chance at a loving forever home. She is really no trouble at all, but simply has a blood virus that has a slight chance of getting passed to other cats so she should be an only kitten or housed with another FIV-positive cat.
Beautiful Moto has been an indoor cat living with one owner for more than eight years. She is extremely gentle and would make a wonderful companion to a special home. Moto is a lap cat who is very calm and friendly and has beautiful long gray fur and green eyes. She has been around other cats and a dog and should do fine with older children.
Brigit is a “senior girl” and a very outgoing and loving cat. Due to poor nutrition in her life, all of her teeth had to be extracted. Brigit has recovered and is doing really well with soft food and gumming dry food. She has long, soft fur that needs regular combing. Her fuzzy feet hide her toenails, which also need regular trimming.
Firebird was rescued from on the expressway. How she got there no one knows, but thankfully she was rescued in time. She demands love and adores being pet by her humans. Firebird seems to acclimate to most situations as far as home environment. She’s tested FELV/FIV negative, is up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She’s been waiting for a home since December.
Keats, a large orange 1-year-old boy who may be part Norwegian Forest Cat was found abandoned. Fortunately, he was rescued and is extremely sweet and affectionate. He is very social with people and is great with other cats and dogs. Keats is very active and loves to chase toys and run up a cat stand to sit and watch the world. He will require daily grooming.
Special needs kitten, Chance, needs a “chance” at a loving home. This sweet kitten is no trouble at all, she simply has a blood virus that has a slight chance of being passed on to other cats. Chance would do fine as an only kitten or with another FIV-positive cat.
Carlos is a very handsome short-haired, black and white adult male, about 10 years old. The photographs don’t do him justice. Unfortunately, he was recently returned to the shelter due to circumstances his family couldn’t avoid. Carlos has a way of looking at you that just grabs your heart. He is a quiet guy and likes to be close to his people, but not necessarily a lap cat. When he wants your attention he’ll follow you around and wait for you to sit down so he can have some attention. Carlos does need a patient person to adopt him as it takes him a bit to adjust to new surroundings. He doesn’t ask much from his humans but to love him. Carlos is FELV/FIV tested negative, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
Pixie, a 10-month-old cat, was found abandoned in an apartment complex. Fortunately, she was rescued and is extremely sweet and affectionate. She literally jumps up to your hand to be petted and loves to sit in your lap for more attention. Pixie is very social with people and is great with other cats and dogs. She is very active and loves to chase toys and run up a cat stand to sit and watch the world.
Colby is a very handsome short-haired gray boy, about 8 years old. He became homeless when his family experienced a crisis.
Taj, a 4-year-old pure white long-haired male Turkish Angora cat, was found abandoned and since has lived with a foster family. He is very playful and gets along fine with dogs and most cats and will require a family without small children who will give him time to slowly adjust to his new surroundings.
Before Chloe’s rescue she was living on a golf course in Ahwatukee Foothills, dodging coyotes, dogs and golf balls. This beautiful girl is affectionate, chatty and lovable. She loves to sit up in a cat tree and watch the world go by and is looking for a forever home to keep her safe. Chloe is spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, current on shots and is microchipped.
Dawson is a long-haired black and white adult boy. He is very affectionate and loves to be around people. He also loves being brushed. Dawson loves his humans but does not enjoy being with other cats. He’d like to be the only cat in the home, which is why he’s been waiting a while for a forever home. Most homes have another kitty and Dawson hasn’t budged on his stand for a home with no cats.
Princess and her brother Barry came from a feral family, but were socialized by their foster mom and are now very friendly, snuggly and love to be rubbed and brushed. They love to sit on your lap and would be perfect for someone who wants a cat to be very attentive. They have been around other cats and would love to be adopted together. Can you give them a chance at a new life?
Chandra is a beautiful, young adult, gray Tabby cat. She can be shy when she meets new people, but when she warms up she’ll meow and want to be pet and loves having her face scratched. Chandra also stands up on her hind legs to ensure you’re scratching her head just in the right spot. In addition to enjoying her people time, she also enjoys quiet time looking out the window or catching some sun streaming in from the window. Chandra also has her kittenish moods for play time with kitty wants and cat toys. She is litter-box trained and uses her scratching post. Chandra is Felv/FIV tested negative, altered, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.
Alfalpha is a curious and extremely affectionate 6-month-old kitten who was abandoned. From the moment you pick him up, he will purr to tell you he enjoys human companionship. He is a very outgoing kitten who likes other cats, especially his sister Shyloh, who looks almost identical to him. Alfalpha loves to play with toys and enjoys hugs from his human friends.
Rosie is a beautiful 2-year-old, orange female tabby, who is looking for her forever home. She is a sweet and gentle cat who can be timid in new environments and situations. She enjoys being groomed and petted and likes to snuggle up to people. In the past, she has lived in a home with two large dogs, seems to get along with other cats, and would do best in a home with older children.
Oscar is a very laid back, friendly, 5-year-old declawed cat. He gets along with other cats, but prefers to find a perch and just relax and watch the action going on around him. He enjoys playing with toys and always welcomes a loving pet as you walk by. If you say hello to him when you walk in the room, he will return the greeting with a friendly meow. Even though Oscar’s front paws are declawed he still enjoys stretching on his scratching post.
