Remember: Always supervise your dog when chewing on ANY new bone/toy that they could potentially swallow. Below are a few chewing tips to lower your odds of coming home to unwanted construction:
Boxer Luv Rescue and Melinda’s Pampered Pets are hosting a charity dog wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at 4302 E. Ray Road, Phoenix (near Jamba Juice). Attendees can choose between a wash-and-dry only for $20, or the $30 package, which includes wash and dry, nails clipped and ears cleaned. There’s an additional $5 charge for long hair. All breeds are welcome; all dogs must be on a leash. Dog treats and homemade baked goods will be for sale. Cash, Visa, Discover and MasterCard are all accepted for payment; no checks. All proceeds benefit Boxer Luv Rescue, a nonprofit organization that rescues over 600 dogs a year and depends solely on donations.
