The NABI Foundation, known for organizing high-profile sporting events for Native American athletes, will be kicking off the NABI Basketball Invitational July 1-5.

In its 12th year, the NABI tournament, presented by Ak-Chin Indian Community and sponsored by Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe, Verizon and Nike N7, has become the largest basketball tournament in the world featuring native and indigenous high school youth.

This summer’s tournament will again feature a college and career fair, team meet-and-greet pool party and educational seminars. The tournament will conclude with the Gold Division championship games at US Airways Center.

The NABI Invitational games tip off on Tuesday, July 2, at nine Phoenix-area gyms. Gold Division championship games will be played at US Airways Center on Saturday, July 5.

Entry into the US Airways Center championship games is free.
