Vermont freshman and Desert Vista graduate Kylie Butler was named to the America East All-Rookie Team on Thursday.

Butler leads the Catamounts in rebounding this season, collecting 6.1 caroms per contest. She ranked 10th among the America East leaders in rebounding and is second among the rookies.

Butler has played in 27 games and earned 16 starts. She is chipping in 8.9 points per game, ranks second on the team in assists (1.5 – 43 total) and has drained 25 3-pointers.

Butler is the 18th Catamount in program history to earn all-rookie honors and the third player under head coach Loria Gear McBride to earn a spot on the team.
