The Desert Vista girls volleyball team continued its great start to the season with a three-set win over Mountain Pointe on Tuesday.

The Thunder won 25-22, 25-20 and 28-26 despite the fact the Pride led in all three games.

“We need to figure out what needs to be done to finish stronger,” Pride coach Fred Mann said.

The two rivals will meet again on Oct. 25 at Desert Vista for the annual Dig Pink contest.
