The Mountain Pointe tandem of Cole Tucker and Ernie de la Trinidad are on opposite sides of the country while playing for Team USA.

Cole continues his drive to be a member of the USA 18U Baseball team headed to Taiwan for the IBAF 18U World Cup in Taichung Aug. 30-Sept. 8. The candidates list is down to 40. They are in Los Angeles for one last tryout in order to get the team down to 20.

Teammate Ernie de la Trinidad is in Cary, N.C., participating in the 2013 USA Baseball 17U National Team Development Program. The week consists of practices and games that help the Team USA coaching staff name the roster the U.S. national teams.
