Ahwatukee Foothills resident and Arcadia graduate Quaid McKinnon was named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week for Angelo State, as the team went 5-0.
McKinnon, a junior infielder who transferred from Paradise Valley Community College, had an on-base percentage of .619 and hit .529 (9 of 17) with eight runs and seven RBIs, four walks and two stolen bases.
