Arizona United Soccer Club and supporters group La Furia Roja 1881 announce they are partnering with a local nonprofit group, Support My Club.

Founded in 2012, Support My Club allows donors to support public education and engage high school students in academics, activities, arts and athletics beyond classroom hours. With item requests as low as $10, donors can contribute without large financial commitment.

With a goal of $10,000 in new supplies for clubs and sports spread across 37 local high schools, Support My Club has launched a back-to-school initiative to enable these schools to hit the ground running at the start of the upcoming school year.

With the assistance of Arizona United SC and La Furia Roja, Support My Club has created a charity drive to support six local boys and girls high school soccer programs in need. Interested donors can take part in a 50/50 raffle that will be held at each of Arizona United SC’s remaining home fixtures: on Saturday, Aug. 2, vs. Sacramento Republic FC; Saturday, Aug. 16, vs. Pittsburgh Riverhounds; and Friday, Aug. 22, vs. Oklahoma City Energy FC.

Fan may purchase tickets for the 50/50 raffle prior to the 70th minute in each game in the main concourse of the Peoria Sports Complex from members of La Furia Roja. Half of the money collected will be donated to support the six high school soccer programs and the other 50 percent will be presented to the winning ticket holder.

Interested donors can also participate by visiting the Support My Club website at
