Three Desert Vista athletes qualified for the Junior Olympics in Maryland and have been competing this week.
Makenzie Holmes-Digiovine qualified in the shot put, discus and hammer, Kyle Spigelmire is also in the hammer, while recent DV graduate senior Sarah Lynde, who is walking in the ASU track team, is in the 800-meter run.
