Horizon Honors graduate Jessica Laflin had a successful first year as an outside hitter/middle blocker for Central College in Pella, Iowa.

Laflin played in 26 of the team's 35 matches as she finished with 108 kills (1.96/set), a .215 attack percentage, 109 digs (1.98/set), 22 blocks, six assists and five ace serves.

The Dutch compiled a 24-11 overall record and a 4-4 Iowa Conference mark, advancing to the league tournament. Central knocked off two higher-ranked seeds to reach the title match but fell short against Cornell College, finishing second.
