Clover Cup returns to Longbow

The Notre Dame Women’s Golf Team, in conjunction with Visit Mesa and Longbow Golf Club, will host the 2014 Notre Dame Clover Cup, a 54-hole women’s collegiate invitational golf tournament, March 13-16.

The 15 teams in the field (and their Golfstat Ranking as of 2-28) include Louisville (39), UNLV (43), Notre Dame (48), Colorado (52), East Carolina (54), Florida International (70), Ole Miss (71), Nebraska (81), Maryland (86), Kennesaw State (88), Michigan (103), Tulsa (106), Cincinnati (122), New Mexico State (130), and St. John’s (140).

Live scoring and results will be available at both www.golfstat.com and www.longbowgolf.com/clovercup. Awards for top-three teams and top-five individuals will be presented Sunday, March 16th directly following final-round play at Longbow, roughly 1 p.m.

Admission is free, and spectators are encouraged to stop by to support their favorite teams. Plus, the schedule of events include a College-Am tournament for those weekend warriors who would like the opportunity to play alongside a collegiate player.
