The 49th annual Arizona Scottish Gathering and Highland Games are this weekend at Steele Indian School Park, 300 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.

Tickets are on discount online, cost more at the door. There will be a kid’s zone.

The Opening Ceremonies are at noon on Saturday. The two days are filled with Scottish music, a battle of the bands, Highland dancing, pipe bands and heavy athletic events.

There will be a kid’s athletic competition at 1 p.m. each day and the tug-of-war at 2 p.m.
