Annual Dig Pink in Tukee is Oct. 20

The friendly rivalry between the Mountain Pointe and Desert Vista girls' volleyball teams has the two programs coming together for this annual event. The game is at Desert Vista this season.

The Sideout Foundation raises money for breast cancer awareness and research. This is a nationwide event carried out by high school and college volleyball teams. The past two years, MP has raised the most money between the two teams, and the two teams combined have raised more money than any other team event across the country.

Raffle tickets are being sold: One ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20.

The freshman game starts at 4 p.m., JV at 5 p.m., and varsity at 6 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support.
