After a scoring snafu was figured out, the Kyrene Akimel A-al Middle School wrestling program won back-to-back conference titles for the first time in school history.

They graduated almost the entire starting lineup with only three starters returning. The team started the season off going 0-3 before finishing 6-1 and winning the Conference championship by a score of 200.5 to 200 Pueblo Middle School’s 200.
