The nationally renowned Sun Devil Aquatics Swim Team finished in second place overall, accruing more than 1,000 points, at the Age Group Regional Swim Meet Feb. 22-24 at McClintock High School.

As a result of its top performances, 37 swimmers age 14 and under qualified for the Arizona Age Group State Championships in Phoenix next week.

The athletes will compete in more than 250 individual events and will compete in relay events as well March 7-10. The Sun Devil Aquatics Swim Team trains at Arizona State University’s Mona Plummer Swim Complex and Ahwatukee Community Center. It is currently taking new members.
