The honors that come along with being Division I state champions has started to roll in for Desert Vista.

Seniors JJ Dielman (offensive lineman), Mike Arredondo (linebacker) and Eric Camarillo (punter) were named All-Arizona by the Arizona Football Coaches Association.

The trio was also named All-Division I and Thunder coach Dan Hinds was named Division I Coach of the Year.

Nationally, Desert Vista has cracked several national polls that didn't have them listed before beating Hamilton for the Division I title.

The USA Today had the Thunder No. 16 in its Super 25. MaxPreps placed them at 31st and Rivals put them at 57.

With other states finishing up their season a week after Arizona, there will probably be more movement before the final rankings of the
