Ahwatukee Foothills resident and Cesar Chavez senior Chandler Hovik signed a letter of intent with Phoenix College.
Hovik threw for 2,159 yards with 25 touchdowns and five interceptions, but the Champions missed the Division II postseason despite going 7-3.
