Hoops players named all-city

The Tempe All-City girls basketball first-team has a heavy Ahwatukee Foothills feel to it.

Desert Vista’s Emily Wolph and Kristine Anigwe and Mountain Pointe’s Maddy Sulka earned first-team honors. The other two members were Corona del Sol’s Taylor Kalmer and Marcos de Niza’s Sophia Anaya, who played at Mountain Pointe last season.
