High school rugby season getting closer

The Tempe Rugby Club, which won the 2010 and 2011 Arizona high school state championships, begins practice for the 2013 season on Nov. 27.

The club is welcoming new players and no experience is necessary.

The high school team is comprised of students in ninth through 12th grades. Practices are twice a week from 5:45 to 8 p.m. at Tempe Diablo Park, at the northeast corner of Roeser and 48th streets.
