Longbow Golf Club’s general manager, Jay Larscheid, will once again be participating in PGA Golf Day to benefit the Special Olympics.

On Wednesday, Aug. 6, Larscheid will be playing 125 holes in an effort to raise money for Special Olympics Arizona and the SWSPGA Foundation — the nonprofit arm of the Southwest Section PGA — for the fifth year in a row. He will be playing what will total more than 11 hours of golf with the goal of raising $12,500.

Donations (per hole or lump sum) are being accepted and are 100 percent tax deductible.
