Mountain Pointe made a seemingly impossible comeback last Wednesday to win the annual Dig Pink in Tukee over Desert Vista in girls volleyball.

The Pride lost the first two games, faced match-point - 24-22 - in the third against the Thunder only to come all the way back to win the match 3 games to 2 for Mountain Pointe's first win over its neighborhood rival since Oct. 16, 2008.

The match was one of many across the country - over 1,000 colleges, high schools and middle schools participated - that are committed to supporting the goals of the Side-Out Foundation by participating in the Dig Pink Breast Cancer awareness rally.

The Side-Out Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit, #20-2510044 that was established to raise money and awareness about Cancer through the recreational activity of volleyball.
