The newly formed Ahwatukee-based soccer club, Phoenix Premier FC, won its first tournament of the fall season when its U9 girls team took first place in the top division of the Ahwatukee Soccer Fest.

In only its second tournament as a new team, they tallied 15 goals while only allowing four, culminating with a 3-2 win in the championship game.

The final was an exciting game as the team came back from behind with two goals in the last few minutes of regulation time to win.
