Arizona Christian University announces that Chuck Hunter has resigned as head women's volleyball coach.

Hunter guided the ACU volleyball program for six seasons (2002-07) prior to taking a two-year break from volleyball coaching and returned to ACU as coach for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He also serves ACU as Dean of Students.

Hunter led ACU to 32 wins and 28 losses over the last two seasons, including a 19-9 mark in 2010, and a 13-19 record for the 2011 season. Hunter's 2010 squad placed second in the NCCAA Division I West Region, and the 2011 squad lost to The Master's College (Calif.) in a West Region semifinal.
