Golfweek has announced that Future Champions Golf will be the exclusive partner for the Western division of its popular Golfweek Junior Tour.
Hosting a minimum of 16 competitive events across the Western U.S. in 2012, the Golfweek Junior Tour-West will host its season opener Jan. 14-15 at Carlton Oaks Country Club in Santee, Calif.
Providing golfers, ages 10 to 19, with the opportunity to gain tournament experience while garnering national exposure, the Golfweek Junior Tour also extends beyond the Western region to include a full roster of Midwestern events.
Members of the Golfweek Junior Tour are eligible to play in both the Western- and Midwestern-based tournaments.
All Golfweek Junior Tour events that meet national ranking criteria will be ranked by Golfweek.
