The Arizona Bombers, a 10-and-under baseball team, and their friends and family, teamed up with Humana Insurance to volunteer with "Back Pack Buddies" and "Kitchen on the Street" Nov. 6.

The players helped out by spending time packing food and goodies for kids and families in need. It was a great experience for all but even more so for the players as some had never done anything like it before.

The following weekend the Bombers took the field in the USSSA "Strike Out Hunger" baseball tournament in Peoria. After losing their first game on Saturday, the team regrouped and turned it around by finishing the tournament as the first place champions.
