Believe it or not the spring sports season is about to begin postseason action.

Here is a run down of the dates.

Baseball: The first round of the double-elimination tournament for Class 5A Division I begins on Saturday, April 30 and ends Saturday, May 14. In between action takes plays on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The single-elimination for the Class 2A tournament starts on May 3 and goes through May 14.

Softball: The first round of the double-elimination tournament for Class 5A Division I begins on Saturday, April 30 and ends Friday, May 13. The single-elimination for the Class 2A tournament starts on May 6 and goes through May 14.

Track: The boys and girls track meets begin Wednesday, May 11 with preliminaries and finish up the finals on Saturday, May 16.

Tennis: The Division I 128-player singles and doubles tournaments for boys and girls start Friday and the second round is Saturday. It restarts April 29 and ends on April 30. The boys and girls 16-team, single-elimination events starts on Monday, April 18 and goes through April 28.

Boys volleyball: The 16-team single-elimination tournament begins on Monday, May 9 and goes through May 14 with the quarterfinals on May 11 and the semifinals on May 13.
