The Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge 5K Race will be Nov. 2 at Salt River Fields. It is inspired by the television show, “Wipeout,” where contestants have to go through crazy obstacles, as runners will encounter the world’s largest water slide, a wrecking ball, the world’s largest moon bounce, Tarzan swing, and more.

It is an untimed event for ages 13 and up. The cost is $55 through Aug. 15 before it rises to $60. The rate keeps increasing as it gets closer to race day. Registration on the day of the race is $75.
