Former DV star Lowery off to good start at Pepperdine

Desert Vista graduate Josh Lowery, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound guard, has played well in Pepperdine's first four games.

The junior is third on the team with a 8.5 scoring average and first in assists at 4.1, while grabbing 4.5 rebounds in a team-high 33 minutes a game.

In Pepperdine's 66-60 win at Arizona State, Lowery had a team-high 13 points on the strength of a 9-for-12 free-throw performance, with eight assists and five rebounds.
