MP volleyball camp set to begin

The Pride Volleyball Staff Camp, run by seven-time state championship coach Fred Mann, will have three sessions Aug. 1 through Aug. 5 at Mountain Pointe High for boys and girls in the fifth to 12th grade.

The camp is designed to teach fundamentals and teamwork as well as an enjoyment and respect for the sport of volleyball.

The first camp is for boys and girls in the fifth and seventh grades and will be held from 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost is $75 for preregistration and $85 the day of the camp.

The camp for girls in the eighth through 12th grade is held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the cost is $100 ($110 the day of camp).

The camp for boys in the eighth through 12th grade is held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the cost is $100 ($110 the day of camp).
