Desert Vista senior Ryne Rezac has been a go-to receiver for the Thunder for the last two seasons, while also being used on special teams and defense as needed.

Desert Vista graduate Ryne Rezac recently completed his senior season with the North Central College football team in Naperville, Ill.

The Cardinals went 13-1 in 2013, winning the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championship for the eighth straight year with a 7-0 in-conference record. North Central advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Football Championship for the first time, losing a 41-40 decision to the No. 1-ranked and defending national champion University of Mount Union.

The starting wide receiver and team captain caught 47 passes for 544 yards and four touchdowns. He gained season-high 88 yards in a 42-0 win at North Park University and caught a season-best seven passes in the Cardinals’ 52-24 second-round playoff win over the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
