Celebrity baseball game on tap in Jan.

The 21st annual Molina Celebrity Baseball Game will be on Jan. 27 at Scottsdale Stadium, 7408 E. Osborn Road. Tickets are $10 for 17 and over.

It is free for 16 and younger, military personnel and 65 and over. Forty Little leagues from across the state will attend and receive $300. During the seventh-inning stretch an additional $20,000 will be given 13 of those teams.

The game will include Hall of Famers Gaylord Perry and Fergie Jenkins along with many former Diamondbacks like Tony Womak and Albie Lopez.

Before the game there is a free CrossFit Scottsdale Run for Kids. Children ages 5 to 12 will have an opportunity to run a race to benefit other kids.

Registration is at 1 a.m. and the first race is at 11:30 a.m. The divisions are 6 and under (100 meters), ages 7-8 (meters), 9-10 (150 meters) and 11-12 (500 meters).
