Valley Christian senior and Ahwatukee Foothills resident Lindy Dyer signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her volleyball career at the collegiate level with Colorado Christian University.

Dyer enjoyed a very successful four-year varsity career at Valley Christian. As a freshman, Dyer was a member on the state championship Trojan volleyball team. She led the Trojans in digs her sophomore, junior and senior years and led the team in kills her junior and senior year. Over the course of her four-year varsity career, she amassed 716 kills and an astounding 1,705 digs. She finished her career with a 102-55 record.

Dyer earned All-State First-Team honors both as a junior and senior. She was also twice named AVCA/MaxPreps Volleyball Player of the Week for Arizona, once in 2011 and most recently on Nov. 4.
